Abandon uncompleted EN quests after trial period
I enjoyed playing EN during the free 5 hour trial period. However, when the 5 hours expired, there were a number of quests that were uncompleted. They remain in my log to clutter it up with quests I may never finish since I have no immediate plans to buy EN.
How do I clear them? When I try to abandon them, I get a message that they can't be abandoned, but must be completed. Thanks! Optiker |

Certain quests in EotN, are primary quests that you don't really get from an NPC, so you can't abandon those.

The best way to stop them from clearing your log is to simply hide the Primary <Type> Quest using the little - sign. Though you'll have to do this quite often. I found it extremely frustrating when I had my chars do GWEN that I didn't take the Asura or Vanguard quest from Vekk/Gwen in EotN. Saves the hideous Quest Log.
They could atleast put them under Primary Quests.. |

Anet are geniuses lol. Its not like they are kicking down your door and pointing a gun at your head to buy GWEN, they are going all Raven style and gently rapping on your door, driving you insane to go to Best Buy or the In-Game Store.
I wish I worked at ANet, but then all sorts of more evil would happen. I bet there is a way to get rid of it though, but I bet you wouldn't want to remove the primaries I am assuming. One thing that DOES bother me, is that we have those fancy close-out tabs for quest categories, but they don't stay that way after a switch/logout. Would be nice if they stayed persistent. |
